HG Bookkeeping & Tax services, LLC provides a unique perspective, with 32 years of experience in a Big Four accounting firm and 20 plus years of leadership and financial assistance to local church’s and organizations in the Dallas and Austin, TX area. We offer our clients the opportunity to work remotely or online within a secure hosting environment. If your business or organization is within the Dallas Metro area we can come to you or work remotely. We recognize that some clients will want to host their bookkeeper in their office location once a week while others may never see their bookkeeper face-to-face after initial consultation. We offer 100% remote support. We are recognized as a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. As such, this enables us to respond to your QuickBooks needs in real time. We tailor our services to your needs. Our consultation fees are included within our agreed upon price for services; therefore you can feel comfortable in contacting us whenever you have a question or concern.

If you would like to take advantage of our outsourcing option, you can email or mail your data to us. We’ll enter your transactions, reconcile your accounts and set your bills up for payment. You also have the option to purchase a “seat” on our secure server and have 24/7 access to your QuickBooks file! Our level of support is defined and included in your Engagement Letter. Your commitment to us is agreed upon up front so that you can effectively structure your budget to accommodate the additional expense. At the end of the engagement you can agree to new terms or in the event that you say the engagement is over we stop work immediately. However we are confident that you will want to have a long term relationship with us so that you can have someone who knows your business and more importantly knows you.

Michael Morgan, Sr. is the President and Founder of HG Bookkeeping and Tax Services, LLC. He grew up in the Dallas area and has lived in the DeSoto area for the last 20 years. After a successful tenure with a Big 4 public accounting firm serving as a leader in all areas of internal accounting and finance, Michael is now fulfilling a life long dream. Parlaying his accounting background with his non-profit experience with churches of all sizes, he is providing years of experience to small business and churches who want the professionalism and attention to details of a CPA firm without the CPA prices. Michael is very detail oriented with experience in project management.

Michael also fulfilled another dream when he obtained his certification from the largest public tax service provider in the U.S. after completing 75 hours of training. After scoring in the top of his class he was offered an opportunity to work as a Tax Specialist during tax season for the company through which he was certified. This has allowed him the opportunity to use his business experience and tax knowledge in assisting his clients with leading practices for better Year End results related to their personal and business tax filings. This knowledge also allows him to work effectively with your CPA or tax advisor related to the filing of your yearly taxes, thereby saving you additional filing fees.

Recognizing that he wanted to provide as much assistance as possible to his clients, Michael became a Notary Public and is a member of the American Association of Notaries. Now poised to provide the desired expertise needed to support his clients he has taken the final step and setting up a vehicle by which he can share his knowledge and experience. Michael has strategically aligned himself with organizations that provide continued education opportunities so that he can stay abreast of changes within the industry to better serve his clients.

Michael’s passion is to assist small business owners and churches better understand and control their bottom line: to share his knowledge gained over the course of his career in both the public and private sector.
